My Defective Slushie Machine

well, i went out and bought a forty dollar slushie maker, which... doesn't work. i put the ice and flavoring in, turn it on, but the liquid never freezes. if i make it dispense, cold cherry syrup comes out, not slushiness.

i fail at making slushies. :(
